On select Fridays throughout the year, Monona Academy of Dance will be hosting pop-up classes with rotating instructors to give our dancers opportunities to develop new skills outside of their normal classes. Dancers do not need to be academic year students at Monona Academy of Dance in order to participate.

Before you sign-up for a pop-up class, make sure you have registered with us as either 1) an academic year student or 2) a drop-in student. Both forms are available HERE. You only need to register once. After registering, please proceed below to sign-up for a pop-in class. You will not be invoiced for your class until you are registered.

Please carefully read descriptions below to see if this class is appropriate for you. Classes will be on a first come first serve basis through online sign-up (these are not drop-in style). Some classes have a limited number of spots available so sign-up quick!

January Pop-up: Modern with Ms. Madi

Modern for 8-11yr olds

Join us for a night of Modern with the wonderful Ms. Madi on January 24! Get introduced to the basics of Modern in this hour long class. Dancers will learn vocabulary and become familiar with working on the floor and across it. Dancers do not have to be registered students with Monona Academy of Dance to attend. Cost is $15 per dancer.

Time: 5:45-6:45 Ages: 8-11 Capacity: 10

modern for 12-18 yr olds

On January 24 join Ms. Madi for a well-rounded Modern class and get in tune with your body. Whether you are new to Modern, need a refresher, or want another class in your schedule, this is the perfect way to finish your week! Dancers do not have to be registered students with Monona Academy of Dance to attend. Cost is $15 per dancer.
